BRUSSELS: This was one of the stops that we probably could have done without, but I wanted to check off another country since the train went right through the country. We stayed in a nice Hampton Inn in the central part of town, near the main shopping street. Our best adventure was a train ride to the main amusement park, Atomium. The large atom shaped building was cool, but mostly for kids. The pictures below show how large the structure is, along with pictures of downtown Brussels. We did stop to see another old church on the way back to the hotel. The best part was the nice walk in the park. Other than that, there was not much to see or do.
