Adventures in Sintra
From Lisbon we took a train to Sintra. The only reason was this great colorful castle on the top of a hill known as The Pena National Palace. The bus ride from the small town of Sintra to the palace is a long upward ride. There is also the Moor Castle right next to it. We had a few hours at the palace and then lunch down in the town before we took the train back to Lisbon.
For us, it was well worth the train ride to see this palace. It was a good day. I am glad Marcy wanted to see it as I was on the fence. Now I recommend it to anyone going to Lisbon.
